We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SVQ Assessor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing candidates pursuing their SVQ qualifications in Social Services and Healthcare. The role is predominantly remote, with some travel required to candidate workplaces for on-site assessments.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting assessments of candidates' portfolios and practical skills in accordance with SVQ standards.
- Providing guidance and support to candidates throughout their qualification journey.
- Coordinating with employers and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth assessment process.
- Maintaining accurate records of assessments and candidate progress.
- Participating in standardisation meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Contributing to a positive and supportive work culture that promotes mental health and well-being.
- A relevant qualification in Social Services or Healthcare (e.g., SVQ, HNC, or degree).
- Assessor qualification (e.g., L&D9DI, A1, or D32/33).
- Experience in assessing SVQs in Social Services and Healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of SVQ standards and assessment requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Willingness to travel to candidate workplaces as needed.
- Commitment to promoting a mentally healthy and humanised work and learning environment.
