You will drive significant improvements in process efficiency, turbocharge the speed and accuracy of financial data analysis, and provide actionable insights that elevate decision-making with advanced reporting and analytics. This dynamic role will not only lead the charge in automation but also collaborate with the broader finance team and business units to innovate and optimise financial operations.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience, or sufficient relevant on-the-job experience to perform suitably in the role and the intent to complete their professional qualification at the earliest opportunity;
- Previous ownership of tasks within the month-end close process, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review;
- Proven experience with IFRS accounting for derivative contracts;
- Alteryx Core Certification, with demonstrated expertise in using the tool for process automation and data analytics;
- Proficiency in Power BI and SQL is required, along with a willingness to further learn and develop expertise in these tools;
