The Role As a Mechanical Sustainment Engineer, you will provide technical support to the Ontic UK Operations teams, external suppliers, and customers. You will support products throughout the lifecycle from NPI to retirement and provide technical support to all internal and external customers and stakeholders. You will review technical specifications and ensure product conformance to design and manage major and minor changes using the Engineering Change Notice workflow. You will perform root cause investigations and deliver corrective actions, producing technical documents and reports to a high standard. About You You’ll need to have a degree or equivalent in a Mechanical discipline or significant industry experience with good educational standards and be able to demonstrate experience in a technical support/Mechanical Engineering role in a manufacturing environment, ideally within Aerospace. Experience of design evaluation or NPI is also an advantage. The successful candidate should possess well-developed communication skills with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and be competent with MS Office and our ERP systems.
