Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a great business as they look to recruit a permanent HR Manager based in Birmingham. £35,894 Full time and Permanent. Please note that this is a fully office-based role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage HR administrative tasks working closely with the DGHR.
  2. Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to meet the goals of the organisation.
  3. Manage and plan the HR needs of the whole organisation.
  4. Direct line management of the Business and HR Coordinator.
  5. Assist in a range of activities and provide necessary support to the wider HR team.
  6. Manage the whole employee lifecycle, issuing contracts, preparing job descriptions, carrying out interviews and issuing offer letters.
  7. Identify training and development needs of the whole workforce to address specific training needs.
  8. Administer and collate payroll within deadlines, dealing with any queries relating to payroll.
  9. Adhere to compliance, upkeep of documentation in line with the company\’s HRIS.

About You

  1. Previous experience working as a HR Manager.
  2. Experience of direct line management is desirable.
  3. Be self-motivated and have the ability to work under pressure adjusting daily workload as required by the business.
  4. Strong communication skills, proactive team player with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  5. Previous experience with HR Software.
  6. Proven experience in Employee Relations case management.
  7. Confidential & trustworthy, understand the importance of handling sensitive data alongside GDPR.
  8. Level 5 CIPD qualified or working towards.
  9. Experience of drawing up employment contracts and policies.
