Operatea variety of chemical plant equipment including loading/off loading tankers. Follow detailed standard operating procedures. Problem solving in production areas. Regular manual handling of chemical bags up to 25kg and drums. Assist with audits and inspections. You will also be expected to participate in the site emergency response and participate in continuous improvement and asset care. We need you to be able to: Work shifts Days and Nights (2 x 12 days, 2 x 12 nights) 6 days off but must be available to cover with reserved hours. Understand Top Tier COMAH. Possess basic numeracy and literacy skills. And it would be great if you could also have this: Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S, Kaizen & 7 wastes) advantageous. Experience in the chemical industry is not vital but a manufacturing background would be advantageous.
