My client is looking for talented Mobile Application Developers to assist in the development of complex features and architectural enhancements, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of an Android app. Ideal candidates will have the following: Proven experience as an Android engineer, with a significant portion of that experience at fast-paced, consumer-focused companies. Proven track record of successfully delivering and scaling Android applications with a large user base. Strong proficiency in Android Kotlin and a deep understanding of Android frameworks and APIs. Strong experience with CI/CD & frequent release cadence. Experience with engineering complex mobile app architectures, including data modelling, networking, caching, and synchronisation. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a passion for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with product, design, and other cross-functional teams to define and drive the technical roadmap and architecture for the Android application. Contribute to the development of complex features and architectural enhancements, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of the Android app. Champion the delivery of high-quality code while operating as a high-performing engineer. Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, code standards, and design principles.
