Managing a varied caseload while collaborating with senior colleagues and mentoring junior team members.
Delivering training and support to clients navigating the changing procurement landscape.
(Optional) Getting involved in business development and non-contentious procurement work if that’s something you enjoy.
About the candidate
What we’re looking for:
-
A qualified solicitor within procurement disputes (experience under the Procurement Act 2023 or Provider Selection Regime is a bonus, but not essential).
-
A good grasp of litigation procedure, including the Civil Procedure Rules , and confident advising on merits and resolution strategies.
-
Experience working with regulated or public sector clients.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal points clearly to a wide audience.
-
A team player who enjoys taking ownership, developing others, and contributing to a positive team culture.
Why join us?
You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that’s embedded in our wider Projects Department. We offer:

Genuine flexibility — work from Birmingham HQ or our Manchester city-centre office, with hybrid working options.
-
The chance to shape a growing disputes practice and influence its future direction.
-
A strong career development pathway, with support from experienced mentors.
-
A values-led firm committed to social purpose, inclusion, and making a difference.
