We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and self-motivated individual to join our Warehouse team in Woking.
As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for duties mainly within the yard, including ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently, and that vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and proactively. Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will work closely with both the Warehouse and Softener supplies teams, becoming a key part of the Harvey Water Softeners operational team.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm, Saturday 8:30am - 12:30pm
What this role involves:
- Picking, packing, and shipping filter orders promptly
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift
- Handling trade and dealer orders and loading these onto vehicles
- Replenishing stock
- Stock control, including accountability for stock transactions
- Collaborating with the inventory controller and team leader to ensure process improvements are followed
- Performing general warehouse duties, including cleaning and maintenance
- Adhering to H&S standards and reporting near misses as applicable
- Completing stock takes, potentially quarterly
