ODIN Recruitment is seeking a Structured Cabling Engineer to join our client's expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a variety of structured cabling installations across the country, over a variety of environments and conditions. The successful Senior Cabling Engineer will be responsible for the installation of both copper and fibre infrastructure, delivering high levels of customer service to clients. This is a national role which will include regular travel. The successful candidate must be happy working away on a regular basis. Our client is a national infrastructure company that focuses on delivering a high level of customer service to its customers, providing an excellent standard of work to some of the UK’s biggest brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate a variety of copper cables, including both 1st and 2nd fix of Cat6a cabling.
- Experience required in Cat5e, Cat6a, Cat7, Voice, and fibre optics.
- Testing using Fluke DTX-1800 & DSX-5000.
- Assuming lead role if required on multi-personnel installations.
- Working from risk assessments and communicating with project managers.
- Being point of contact for customers.
