Description

A leading global asset manager is seeking a tenured Investment Specialist to join their Hedge Fund Investor Relations team. This is an excellent opportunity to be led by an Investment Director at a highly reputable firm in a team at the focal point of current business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the communication strategy of the firm’s product offering – continually assess opportunities for business growth and tailored solutions, acting as an SME for any incoming questions.
2. Assist in the creation and upkeep of marketing materials such as RFPs, factsheets, DDQs, client questionnaires, etc.
3. Protect the integrity of the investment and risk management process to ensure client needs are met and parameters are obeyed.
4. Collaborate with internal teams such as Product Management and Operations to share guidelines and develop best practices.

Candidate Profile:

1. Minimum 5+ years’ Long/Short Equity experience and/or experience with Multi-Strategy, Global Macro, Credit, Event-Driven, Arbitrage strategies.
2. Strong educational background; MBA/CFA highly desirable.
3. Proven ability to communicate seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Commercial, inquisitive mindset and can-do attitude.
5. Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to adapt to differing levels of stakeholder competencies.
