About The Role

• Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
• Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week
• Salary: £24000

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our dynamic finance team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, loves working with numbers, and wants to make a real impact within a thriving company. You’ll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the smooth management of bank transactions, reconciliations, and supporting key administrative functions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the go-to person for daily banking information, providing key data to the credit control team.
• Manage daily transactions by posting them to the company bank accounts – accuracy is key!
• Prepare daily operating statements to keep our Directors informed and empowered.
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure everything balances perfectly.
• Take ownership of monthly nominal and HP account postings, ensuring deadlines are met with precision.
• Manage depot petty cash requests and keep everything in order.
• Handle bank-related queries, ensuring our accounts run smoothly.
• Help with year-end preparations by reconciling various expense accounts.
• Assist the finance team with general admin duties, supporting the smooth running of the department.
