Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Job Location: Barnsley
Shift Pattern: Days
Salary: £15 – £18 per hour (depending on experience) + Overtime at 1.5x (after 40 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

MIG and TIG welding of mild and stainless steel
Fabricating components using hand tools and workshop equipment
Grinding and polishing welds to achieve seamless finishes
Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings
Following all health and safety standards in a workshop setting
Collaborating with a team to meet production targets
Occasional site work as required

Requirements:

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
Confident using hand tools and workshop machinery
Experience working with varying material thicknesses and sizes
Ability to polish and grind welds to a high finish
Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Positive, reliable and flexible attitude
Full UK Driving Licence
Able to commute to the Barnsley-based workshop
