What you'll be doing:

  • Impact: Support the VP of the Gaming Vertical and the Product and Tech leadership in achieving financial and product objectives by developing analytics capabilities, insights, and decision science.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Capabilities teams to create solutions that foster a self-service data culture, increasing data literacy and enabling analysts to focus on strategic tasks.
  • Analytics and Insight team: Define clear objectives for your team based on company strategy and supported areas. Create metrics frameworks and decision rules to enhance product and technology outcomes. Develop solutions to optimize gaming product revenues. Map how analytics, insights, and data can improve the gaming experience, portfolio, and performance. Influence product teams with data-driven hypotheses and success measures. Promote ongoing insights generation, improving quality and credibility, and encouraging self-service analytics.
  • Team & Culture: Build and develop a high-performing team. Review and redesign team structure for scalability and effectiveness, fostering collaboration and clear accountability. Continuously assess and develop team skills, tools, and processes. Foster a culture of continuous feedback. Implement performance assessments, recognize top performers, and address underperformance. Create a succession plan to ensure talent retention and leadership continuity. Contribute to improving analytics maturity across the organization.
  • Delivery focus: Coordinate effort allocation within your team. Align cross-functional efforts with shared objectives. Balance quick wins with long-term projects, avoiding stakeholder request overload. Manage deliverables and timelines effectively. Work closely with stakeholders to refresh roadmaps and implement processes like OKRs. Collaborate with Data teams to accelerate product development and deliver data-driven solutions aligned with company vision. Encourage innovation, ideation, and experimentation.
  • Lead by example: Maintain a critical yet fair approach, offering alternatives and fostering a growth mindset. Support peers and promote the evolution of the analytics and insights organization.

We're looking for someone with experience in:

  • Data analysis and interpretation to extract meaningful insights and inform decisions.
  • Business intelligence, including data visualization and strategic decision-making.
  • Statistical analysis and its application to analytics and data science problems.
  • Stakeholder management, aligning analytics initiatives with business objectives.
  • Leading analytics, data science, or insights teams, preferably at a senior or head level.
  • Developing and implementing data-driven strategies for business growth.
  • Using analytics and statistical methods to derive business value.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.
