What You’ll Be Doing Lead financial analysis and build robust valuation models across a range of use cases — transactions, disputes, restructuring, and portfolio reviews Oversee in-depth market, industry, and competitor research to support valuation conclusions Conduct client interviews and stakeholder discussions to inform your analysis Produce clear, insightful reports and client-facing documents Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams Mentor junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives, especially in the SME and small-cap segments What Makes This Role Stand Out End-to-End Responsibility: Work across the full lifecycle of valuation projects, from scoping to delivery Visible Career Progression: Recent team promotions and continued growth have created real upward mobility Diverse Engagements: Transaction-focused work with minimal audit or purchase price allocation exposure Senior-Level Collaboration: Work directly with experienced Directors and Partners on high-impact projects Supportive Culture: Be part of a close-knit, collaborative team with a strong focus on quality and development What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in valuations or a related area (exceptional candidates with 4+ years considered) ACA qualified (minimum 2 years PQE, ideally 3+), or CFA qualification Background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, or Restructuring Strong technical expertise in valuation methodologies, including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, Black-Scholes, and Monte Carlo simulations Excellent financial modelling skills and analytical acumen Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail A proactive, commercial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Team Overview Mid-sized team of 20, spanning Partners, Directors, Managers, and Analysts/Associates Culture of collaboration, ambition, and measured growth Focused on building a strong bench of future leaders with a commitment to internal development London-based role with national coverage and growing reach in the micro-cap space Step Into a Role With Real Impact If you\’re looking for a career-defining opportunity where you can lead, grow, and deliver work that matters — this could be the ideal next step.
