The Store Manager plays a crucial role in the success of the store, overseeing sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Recruitment, induction, training, and development of staff in line with Subway's standards — lead by example!
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Check deliveries, match orders, and handle daily banking
- Prepare stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
- Manage cash balances and minimize wastage
- Ensure 100% compliance with Subway and local council guidelines
- Perform inventory management and stock control, including weekly stock takes and reports
- Analyze weekly sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
