Would you like to apply AI, ML and modern data-engineering approaches to real-world solutions? Atomic is a dynamic and forward-thinking software development agency which works with high-profile clients including the likes of JCB, Rolls-Royce and Center Parcs. The services we offer clients include cloud infrastructure migration and modernisation, technical planning & discovery workshops, product design, web/mobile/API development, digital transformation and cyber security. We’re also strongly committed to developer experience and technical excellence and this role will be at the forefront of our efforts. First and foremost we’re seeking someone with extensive experience in modern web application development who is currently in a technical leadership role, with a strong preference for someone with experience in agency and/or B2B client-facing roles. You’ll need to possess solid .NET Core experience. You’ll also need to have strong working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and data engineering along with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. You’ll have experience working in products with well-thought-out, practical solutions solving real-world challenges and you’re eager to expand your impact even further across our client base. As a Technical Lead at Atomic you’ll have direct responsibility across multiple client projects. With this in mind we are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll adeptly navigate technical discussion and be able to work both together and independently to deliver exceptional quality while being a voice for the direction of Atomic’s technical landscape. Additionally, you’ll be expected to mentor more junior engineers and advocate for improvement and positive change. We’re looking for someone who is truly passionate about crafting software and solutions that have a meaningful impact. You’re deeply committed to delivering the highest level of service for our clients, creating products that significantly enhance the experience of end users. What we are offering: Remote & hybrid working – This position can be largely remote but our engineering team members do come into our Nottingham office for one day per month, mainly as a team building exercise. We have a core of staff (engineers and non-engineers) who choose to work from the office more frequently, so you can of course come in more than one day per month if you wish! Flexible hours – Our contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm with 30 mins for lunch. But with agreement from your line manager, and subject to you working our core hours of 10am-4pm, you are free to vary your start and finish times.
