Telematics Project Development Engineer 0979 β Β£30.02/hr PAYE rate Do you have experience with Telematics hardware, systems, and knowledge of vehicle connectivity? Are you ready to drive your career forward with an exciting role in the automotive industry? We are looking for a passionate and innovative Telematics Project Development Engineer to join a leading technical centre in Europe, renowned for its cutting-edge design and development of vehicles. What You Will Do: Implement on-board telematics systems for vehicles manufactured in Europe for global markets. Generate and release TCU configuration data for European vehicles. Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to Quality, Cost & Timing targets. Coordinate in-house and supplier TCU validation to company design standards ahead of new software releases. Collaborate with Off Board Connected Car test teams to confirm system performance for remote commands. Project manage cross carline projects for both on-board and off-board connected car and infotainment teams. What You Will Bring: Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. Experience with Telematics hardware, systems, and knowledge of vehicle connectivity. Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including Excel to intermediate/advanced level. Strong problem-solving skills with a solid mathematical understanding. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
