What you’ll be responsible for The Safety, Health & Environment team along with the Engineering team provide critical support to the manufacturing and packing operations with our snack factory in Hayes. A safe and enjoyable working environment and reliable equipment are critical to making the Hayes Snack Factory a fantastic place to work for all that work here. This role will provide pivotal support turbo charging the site’s safety programme to achieve our target of zero harm within our workforce and to uplift the reliability of our assets to make and deliver great tasting high margin snacks. This role will support the SHE Manager and Reliability & Maintenance Manager with reporting and planning activities including: Key responsibilities Providing support with the Safety and Environmental data reporting Reviewing energy and waste trends across site Performing regular safety inspections across the site Facilitating audits by supporting with gap analysis and action closures Supporting in reviewing risk assessment and safe system of works for activities across site Rolling out and coordinate SHE + Basic Condition trainings and procedures (supporting unit managers, warehouse manager and team leaders to ensure key messages are delivered effectively) Managing document control across SHE and engineering Tracking and chasing Purchase Orders and Goods receiving within our finance and parts tracking systems Asset inventory and system administration for compliance What we’re looking for in you Strong numerical and literacy skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Drive and enthusiasm Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work across multiple departments.
