Looking for greater flexibility to work from home? This is a fully remote role. You can work from home every day. Sitting within 2nd line, you’ll partner 1st line operations across the full breadth of the business, including Claims, Underwriting and Distribution to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring activities.
You’ll provide oversight and challenge on 1st line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making across operational and conduct risk in particular. You’ll support the enhancement and execution of the company’s risk management framework, lead RCSAs, develop risk assessments and conduct risk appetite monitoring with 1st line stakeholders.
You’ll assist in the preparation and delivery of risk and compliance reporting to senior management, Board committees and regulatory bodies as required. There will be plenty of scope to make the role your own and you’ll be encouraged to continually challenge the status quo, helping to develop the risk culture across the business.
You’ll be an experienced Risk professional from the Financial Services sector. You’ll ideally have gained broad Risk experience across multiple Risk disciplines including Operational and Conduct Risk, whilst previous Insurance experience would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
You’ll have experience of developing risk assessments and executing RCSAs, and possess an analytical mindset, a curious nature and a willingness to learn and develop. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this role.
