The Role: The Trainee Mortgage Advisor position is part of a Progression Programme designed to guide you on your journey to becoming a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor. You\’ll be learning all the \”magic\” behind the mortgage world, starting with the basics and advancing as you go. At the heart of your training, you\’ll gain a deep understanding of the Shared Ownership scheme and learn how to support customers and clients by: Being the go-to contact for clients, ensuring their case progresses smoothly. Conducting affordability checks for Housing Associations on behalf of Homes England. Reviewing key information to match customers with suitable lenders. Gathering and understanding required documentation to help customers move forward on their journey to homeownership. Your Future Path: As you gain experience, you\’ll receive full support with your CeMAP qualification (paid for by the company!), and once completed, you\’ll receive further training before starting to advise your own clients under supervision. Your ultimate goal? Achieving Competent Status and becoming a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor. To be successful in this role, you\’ll need: Exceptional organisational skills to stay ahead of the game. Excellent customer service skills – you\’ll need to bring joy to every interaction! Empathy and a genuine passion for helping First Time Buyers fulfill their homeownership dreams. Analytical thinking to review customer information and find the best solutions. Focus and determination to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. What\’s in it for you? Permanent, full-time opportunity. Starting salary: £22,500 + monthly bonus (£300-£400) (OTE £27,500).
