Base pay range County Durham £45-52k (After Shift Allowance) + Paid OT + Benefits Package (OTE well in excess of £55k+) Jackson Hogg is exclusively representing a well-known and established manufacturer in the region in their search for multiple Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians. Due to significant site growth and an uplift in work, there are multiple requirements across the business. This is a busy and diverse role with a real focus on hands-on input as they look to transition from a reactive to a planned maintenance strategy. This role is very hands-on and a wide and varied knowledge of various Maintenance processes is essential including but not limited to: PLC Fault Finding 3 Phase Systems Equipment, Plant and Machinery Site Services and Facilities Boilers, Chillers and Coolers Candidates will be exposed to a variety of unique and bespoke machines and the ability to think proactively and reactively is essential. Technicians work largely independently across the site reporting into a supervisor and ultimately the Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will come from a Chemical or Process industry, but the role is open to any fast-moving and high-paced environment experience. Candidates must be fully time served with a recognized apprenticeship, ideally Multi Skilled or Electrically biased. A HNC or higher is most desired but not essential. This role is working across a large site on all manner of site service facilities work and includes both line work, instrumentation, calibration and FM. The salary advertised reflects a base salary banding and shift premiums. Overtime is plentiful and higher earning is very achievable.
