Lambeth, Greater London, South East, England 1st November 2023 Long Term Job Description A Special Needs School for secondary ages students in the London borough of Lambeth is currently recruiting through Rikama Education for a Behaviour Mentor to join the school in January 2024 (possibly sooner for the right candidate). The successful Behaviour Mentor will support students with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn. You will actively listen to their needs and concerns, address and challenge behaviour that impacts negatively on the student, and provide tailored guidance and support whilst liaising with teachers, social workers, the management at the school, other educational professionals, and parents/guardians. The school has an excellent management team and provides ongoing CPD to ensure you are always in a position to best help students as well as further your own development in the role. It would ideally suit an experienced TA or someone in a similar role as a Behaviour Mentor who is looking for a new challenge in a positive and rewarding environment! Should you be successful, you will be rewarded by: A dedicated consultant Training and ongoing CPD provided by both Rikama and the school. A long-term contract with the potential to go permanent.
