The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

In this role, you have the opportunity to be responsible for delivering integration services to link technology from Philips Enterprise Informatics (EI)/ Radiology Informatics (RI) with systems from other leading vendors in order to deliver complete solutions to healthcare organizations. The EI/RI Integration Specialist is part of a project team comprised of other Philips EI/RI employees, customers and third-party vendors. You can be based from home, anywhere in the United Kingdom, and will be asked to travel to UK customer sites for project go-lives.

You are responsible for:

  • Integration Analysis: Document customer requirements, define workflow, interview customers, design solutions and interfaces, evaluate alternatives, define scope and level of effort to implement solution, prepare and qualify integration services offers in order to create Work Packages and quote service to the customer, develop test plans and test environments.
  • Integration Delivery: Convert requirements into specifications and units of work, implement solution by developing required components and/or configuring existing products, execute unit and system test plans, identify and resolve issues, define service strategy and procedures for the integrated solution, document the solution and hand it over to the service organization for maintenance.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • University Degree/Master Degree or equivalent in IT, technical field, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role or as a developer.
  • Database design, implementation/development, administration (Oracle DBA level a gold plus but not strictly required).
  • Development of simple integration components (Visual Studio, .Net, Java, J2EE, PL/SQL developer, C, C++, COM object-based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, Soap, etc.).
  • Medical Standards: DICOM and Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skills.
