Millmuir Farm House, nestled on the edge of the village of Gargunnock near Stirling, is a warm, nurturing home for two children and young people. Focused on continuing care and preparation for leaving care, it offers a therapeutic setting where relationships come first a place where young people are truly supported to flourish.

We’re looking for a Lead Practitioner to join our small and dedicated team. With experience in residential childcare or education, you’ll lead by example, build strong, trusting relationships with young people, and support colleagues to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care. You’ll also take on keyworking responsibilities, contribute to care planning, and help ensure the home reflects our Christian ethos in everyday life.

To apply, you’ll need to be registered (or eligible to register) with the SSSC, and hold at least an HNC in Social Care and SVQ Level 3. A good understanding of attachment and trauma-informed practice is essential, and DDP Level 1 training would be a real bonus. A full driving licence is also required, along with the confidence to support others through reflective, values-based practice.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
