Equifax is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bid Coordinator to join our growing team in Nottingham. This role is crucial in supporting our sales and business development efforts by creating compelling and high-quality proposals for our diverse range of solutions. You will work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to understand client needs and translate them into winning proposals. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to review and write new sales proposals/renewals as well as implement standardisation, consistency and automation to our processes.
What You’ll Do

Work alongside the Bid Director to oversee all aspects of the proposals preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner

Analyse Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and other client requirements to understand project scope and objectives

Collaborate with sales, product, legal, and technical teams to gather necessary information and develop tailored solutions

Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content, including executive summaries, technical responses, pricing schedules, and service level agreements

Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and internal guidelines

Coordinate the review and approval process for proposals with relevant stakeholders

Manage proposal deadlines and ensure timely submission

Plan and manage bid activities, resources and risks

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the proposal process and templates.

Develop and maintain knowledge information library, working with SMEs across the business on a frequent basis to maintain the content and ensure the best and most recent material is readily available

Develop and maintain documented processes and guidelines for the periodic update of knowledge information library content material

Support with the formatting/quality of bid/tenders/renewals and supporting material
-
Proof read bids/responses; checking for quality and consistency

Performing lessons-learnt reviews to gain feedback from internal stakeholders.

Provide general administrative support as required
What experience you need
-
Proven experience in proposal writing, bid management, or a similar role, within SaaS or financial services.

Have supported proposals for the UK government or public sector organisations

High level of commercial awareness with ability to develop bid specific win strategies

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and develop effective solutions

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Have managed multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
