Registered Scrub Nurse –City of London. Pulse are looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Scrub Nurses in the City of London. Get the freedom to work how you want, when you want with our flexible shifts available from Monday through to Sunday. With Pulse you can plan ahead with our block bookings, available to book up to 3 months in advance. We are offering a variety of shift patterns, including the option of full-time equivalent hours. Closest underground stations are St Paul’s (5 minute walk), Barbican (7 minutes), Farringdon (8 minutes), Blackfriars (10 minutes), Moorgate (17 minutes). PAYE £32.50 – £45.00 What you will be doing as a Scrub Theatre Nurse You will set up the operating room for the patients, ensure all the tools are sterile and ready to use. Hand tools to the doctor during the surgery and perform other duties inside the surgical room requested. Act quickly in emergencies during the surgery whilst remaining calm and following instructions. Assist draping the patients and de-gowning patient Finish the documentation and hand over patient to the recovery room Each Scrub nurse role may vary depending on location and skill – TB discussed To be considered for this role you will need to have: Valid NMC registration At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the Scrub sector Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment. Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one. Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.
