Senior Manager, Proposal Pricing

Premier Research is looking for a Senior Manager, Proposal Pricing to join our Proposal & Contracts team. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare complex and/or global program proposal budgets to support the acquisition of new business for key strategic accounts.
• Support Account Directors and Strategic drug development team with customer requirements for budgets.
• Effective management of the Change Order Budget Team to motivate and develop the team to produce high quality, accurate change orders.
• Ensure all stakeholders and contributors in the budgeting and change order process are informed throughout the cycle to meet deadlines.
• Effective collaboration with the Project Financial Analysts and Project Managers to meet deadlines for change orders.
• Supports the Executive Director with reporting, meeting leadership and employee and operational training.
• Manages the work flow and coordinates the efforts of the team.
• Provides primary review of Associate and Senior Associate customer documents.
• People Management Responsibilities - managing a team of 3.
• Effectively manages the budget development lifecycle from customer need identification, through proposal preparation and submission, to post-decision review and feedback to stakeholders.

What We Are Searching For:

• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant industry experience, which includes a minimum of three years’ experience in the proposal development process.
• Demonstrates an understanding of CRO services, including knowledge of the processes and procedures for conducting a clinical trial, to ensure the production of an appropriate budget for inclusion in the proposal.
• General knowledge of clinical trial management services and governing guidelines.
• Good writing capabilities; ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Good mathematics skills, including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; and the ability to apply basic concepts of accounting and finance.
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
