IT Officer – Housing Management Systems Specialist
Our client, a respected social housing provider, is seeking an experienced IT Officer to join their progressive IT team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months. This office-based role offers hybrid working arrangements.
Position Overview:
Working directly with the Head of IT & Projects, you\’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support and services across the organisation, with a particular focus on the MIS ActiveH Housing Management System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for the MIS ActiveH Housing Management System, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction while delivering training to staff across the organisation.
- Manage first and second-line IT support incidents across multiple platforms including VMWare, Windows, iOS, and server-based systems, maintaining high service standards and quick resolution times.
- Contribute to the IT Service Desk knowledge base, documenting solutions and sharing expertise to reduce recurring issues while managing Active Directory permissions in collaboration with the Managed Service Provider.
- Support the Mobile Device Management platform, working closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient operation while maintaining integration and reporting products.
- Demonstrate a strong background in Microsoft desktop technologies and end-user computing support.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Data Protection legislation.
- Exhibit excellent teamwork abilities combined with strong initiative.
- Commit to understanding and supporting diverse user needs.
Desirable Qualifications:
- SQL scripting experience
