Fantastic new opportunity to join a Legal 500 and Chambers rated firm with a superb work/life balance. Our client is looking for an experienced Probate Solicitor, looking to take the next step in their career with one of the leading law firms within Wiltshire. This firm is one of the most well established and highly regarded in the area and will offer you the development and progression you are looking for at this stage in your career.

You will be a team player as you will work very closely with the other members of the Probate team. This position primarily entails administering sizable and intricate taxable testate and intestate estates. Responsibilities include:

  • Applying business and agricultural property reliefs
  • Calculating inheritance tax for exempt and non-exempt beneficiaries
  • Managing estate administrations for national charities
  • Preparing wills and LPAs, particularly for elderly individuals with potential mental capacity issues
  • Overseeing the work of solicitors and paralegals

You will either currently be a member of STEP or be willing to work towards achieving the same. Experience of probate work and drafting wills and powers of attorney is essential. This role will provide you with a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package.
