Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** A Registered Nurse in Nursing Professional Development Generalist role uses expertise to enhance healthcare methods for learners. They improve patient outcomes and their techniques. **Essential Functions of the Role** + You will create and assess professional development programs aligned with current methodologies to promote ongoing learning. + You\’ll identify the needs of our staff, work closely with various teams, and modify educational material to suit those needs. + You will help implement education plans. You will create a positive environment to reach our goals. + You\’ll design and assess educational activities and projects. You\’ll engage team members and implement evidence-based content. + Use reliable methods to evaluate program outcomes. Involve learners in evaluation and adjust material based on data collected. + You\’ll build relationships with various community education programs and weave ethics through all aspects of your educational practice. **Key Success Factors** + Familiarity with nursing practices, standards of patient care and procedures. + Comprehensive grasp of pertinent laws, regulations and standards set by accrediting agencies. + Knowledgeable in the areas of health promotion, illness prevention, and healthcare terminology. + A deep respect for medical and nursing ethics, and commitment to safeguarding patient confidentiality. + Adaptable teaching skills that cater to diverse learning methods. + Excellent communication skills with an aptitude for interacting with a varied group of people. **Salary** **The pay range for this position is $40.35 (entry-level qualifications) – $62.52 (highly experienced) The specific rate will depend upon the successful candidate’s specific qualifications and prior experience.** **Belonging Statement** We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. **Qualifications** + Bachelor\’s Degree in a relevant field. + At least (2) two years of pertinent experience is essential. + (RN) Registered Nurse license and (BLS) Basic Life Support certification.
