We are seeking an Emergency Department RN to join the Emergent Care Team! The ER Nurse is a professional Registered Nurse who is accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients with varied diagnoses in our 13-bed, fast-paced Emergency Room. This includes:
- Assessing, coordinating, and participating in the care and teaching for patients.
- Ensuring that patient care is delivered in collaboration with the patient, family members, physicians, peers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice in the clinical setting and responsibility for creating exceptional patient/family experiences during the delivery of this care.
- Competency in caring for acute stroke, cardiac, pediatrics, geriatrics, and trauma patients.
Education requirements: RN program completion required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 1 – 2 years nursing experience in practice setting.
Licensure: ME or compact RN license. BLS required.
Certification: BLS required; ACLS required; PALS preferred; TNCC preferred; MOAB or equivalent training preferred.
