Our London Geomatics team are looking to take on a graduate geomatics surveyor to support the continued growth of our service. You will be joining our specialist geomatics team and working as part of our wider London multidisciplinary team to provide a full service to a variety of clients across the Greater London area. As a Graduate Geomatics Surveyor, you will assist and learn from your Geomatics colleagues, working as part of a team on geomatics commissions including topographical surveys, measured building surveys, 3D Laser Scanning, 3D Revit and AutoCAD services. You will work alongside a senior colleague and be provided with hands on exposure to geomatics practices to support your learning and develop your professional skills. As a Graduate Geomatics Surveyor you will: Assist surveyors with preparation of site work Provide assistance with 3D Laser Scanning, Measured Building Surveys, Topographical Surveys & Scanning Processing Support the Geomatics team on AutoCAD drafting, Administration, QA (Quality Assurance) & Data management Successfully complete the Gleeds internal APC preparation programme; and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status (RICS) Ensuring that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checks Additional responsibilities include: Attaining Chartered status Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes. Sound problem solving, negotiating, financial management and numeracy skills. Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Ability to work as part of a team.
