Power BI Analyst/Data Visualisation Specialist | 6 Month Contract | (Outside IR35) | Hybrid/Glasgow | Starting ASAP Day Rate: £DOE About the Role: You will play a pivotal role in our Business Information Transformation (BIT) programme. The BIT programme is a strategic initiative focused on transforming the clients into a more data-driven organisation. By leveraging advanced analytics and business intelligence tools, we aim to enhance decision-making, optimise operations, and foster innovation across all departments. As part of this transformation, you will play a critical role in engaging with the user community, translating their data analysis requirement into high-impact dashboards and reports that empower teams with the insights they need to succeed. High-quality, clean, and trusted data is seen as a core enabler for service delivery improvements. Essential Skills & Experience: Extensive experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling. Strong analytical skills and a track record of working with large, complex datasets. Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business questions into data-driven solutions. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop and implement a structured data analysis framework to support consistent, high-quality insight generation. Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that drive business performance and service delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data visualisation solutions. Perform advanced data analysis and modelling to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with governance and GDPR standards. Contribute to the BIT programme\’s mission by delivering insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Desirable Experience in or exposure to public sector environments.
