We are looking for a Business/Finance Administrator to join our team at Norton College in Tewkesbury.

About the role

  • Reporting to the Head Teacher and the Senior Leadership team, the school business administrator will play a key operational role in the management of the service to meet the school’s aims and school improvement plan.
  • Provide effective, timely and confidential administration support to the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership teams as required and ensure that relevant records and documents are kept up to date and stored securely and confidentially at all times.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervisions and annual reviews in accordance with School policy and the standards set by the Regulatory Body and also in training and take responsibility for personal development.
  • Operate at all times in accordance with School policies and procedures, particularly regarding Safeguarding, Adult/Child Protection, Complaints and Representations, and Behaviour Management Policies.
  • Promote the school as a valued, professional asset within its community and foster a culture where individuals and staff conduct themselves in a manner that reinforces this image.
  • Ensure that all actions taken are in the interests of the pupils and the school and work to exhibit the values of the school while maintaining standards of behaviour in accordance with school policies, procedures and practices.
  • Carry out any other reasonable and relevant duties as required.
