This role offers a competitive salary, hybrid working (in the London office Tuesday and Thursday), 28 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and a fantastic pension scheme offering 6% in year one and 11% after this. Salary: Β£30,000 β Β£32,500 per annum.
About the role
This is primarily a B2B press office role - please note that any candidates who do not have B2B PR experience will have their application rejected. This is an exciting, newly-created position within the high-performing and fast-paced Which? press office team. You will have the opportunity to shape this role, which is pivotal to promoting Which?'s commercial work, such as our respected endorsements and partnerships, with businesses that share our commitment to driving positive outcomes for consumers. You'll also be instrumental in promoting Which?'s expertise and influence, ensuring our messaging resonates with industry stakeholders while maintaining the trust that underpins everything we do. This press office role is key to championing Which?'s mission through impactful B2B and commercial PR. It will support our B2B and commercial strategy, enhancing relationships with business partners, and showcasing the breadth of Which?'s services across key industries. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact, leveraging your B2B or commercial PR expertise to strengthen Which?'s reputation and help deliver on our strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Create Compelling Content: Write and deliver impactful press releases, media briefings, and articles that promote Which?'s B2B and commercial initiatives, research, and endorsements, ensuring clarity and relevance to industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner across the organisation including with commercial, endorsement and brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive communication strategy across all B2B channels and opportunities.
- Develop and Deliver B2B PR Plans: Create and execute targeted PR strategies to raise awareness of Which?'s commercial and B2B activities and services, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Build Strong Media Relationships: Cultivate and maintain connections with journalists and media outlets, especially within B2B and trade press.
About you:
- Proven B2B PR Expertise: Demonstrated experience in a B2B or commercial PR role, with the ability to craft and execute strategies that align with business objectives and drive positive media coverage.
- Crisis and Reputation Management: Skilled in handling complex communications challenges, safeguarding organisational reputation through effective crisis response.
- Media Relations and Tools Proficiency: Ideally proficient in using media databases, press release distribution platforms, and media monitoring tools, with a track record of building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic and Relationship-Driven: Adept at identifying thought leadership opportunities, fostering media connections, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to amplify organisational impact.
