My international client’s residential valuation team is looking to add a nearly chartered/recently chartered surveyor to their London valuation team.
My client is market-leading, with a presence in over 50 countries globally. The successful candidate will be joining an entrepreneurial & collaborative environment where you’ll work alongside experts who provide advice and services to a plethora of clients.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment that can be tailored to the needs of individual clients. All valuations are market-based and carefully thought out, providing an accurate assessment of current values and informed forecasts.
Most valuations are for loan security work; however, my client also undertakes valuations for accounts and tax purposes, funds, acquisition and disposal advice, and general consultancy work.
This role will be focused on Residential Investment – Based in the West End with a nationwide remit.
The role will involve undertaking valuations of BTR, PBSA, and Co-living assets. My client has valued some of the market-leading schemes in each sector.
Responsibilities:
• To undertake a variety of Loan Security, Institutional, and Corporate Valuations.
• To liaise with fund managers and bank relationship managers
• To undertake secured lending valuations and other one-off valuations when required
• In conjunction with other team members, to develop the department’s existing and prospective client relationships
• Attend client meetings when required
• Integrating & engaging with internal opportunities such as client forums, networking events, charity committees and sports teams
Requirements and Skills:
• MRICS or approaching final APC assessment
• Willingness to take and execute instructions, learn and develop
• Highly numerate and proficient in MS Office packages and databases
• Good report writing skills and attention to detail essential and the ability to work with reporting software
• Knowledge of Argus Developer preferable but not imperative
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
• Strong analytically
• Must possess excellent organisation and time management
• Must be able to work to deadlines
• Essential to work effectively as part of a team
