Lead Mobile Engineer

Lead Mobile Engineer Location: Hybrid (Brentford Based) Contract Length: 3-9 months (dependent on timeline) Day Rate: £500-£575 (Outside IR35) Start Date: Immediate Understanding Solutions are looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to drive the development of their customer’s new cross-platform mobile app. This critical project will enable their customers to have the best app experience possible for repeat use and ease of use. There will be a number of enhancements needed to assist their customer’s journey. What You\’ll Do: Build a high-performing mobile app using Capacitor by Ionic and Vue.js for the frontend. Integrate pre-existing APIs to deliver seamless functionality. Optimize performance across iOS , Android , and PWA platforms. Collaborate with backend engineers working in Kotlin to ensure data flow stability. Lead technical execution while adhering to tight deadlines. Experience Needed: Extensive experience building cross-platform apps using Capacitor and Vue.js . Strong understanding of backend integration with APIs, ideally using Kotlin . Proven ability to deliver complex mobile applications on time and within budget. Familiarity with payment systems and data tracking features is a plus. Comfortable managing tight timelines and providing leadership to technical teams.
