We are currently recruiting for a Complex Technical Fee Earner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about their work, the service they provide, and achieving the best results for their clients. We are looking for candidates with claimant or defendant experience or Fee Earners/Paralegals who have a good track record of handling a caseload of fast/multitrack litigated credit hire cases. You must have experience dealing with credit hire claims and handling allegations of fraud or fundamental dishonesty. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing various stages of an RTA claim, using an automated, lean, and efficient case workflow to achieve the best possible outcome for clients and the firm.
  • Handling a mixture of Fast Track/Multi Track matters, including those requiring multiple medicals and those involving just special damages.
  • Progressing cases to trial if necessary, including advising on liability and quantum, and preparing for CMCs, CCMCs, and other interlocutory hearings and trials.
  • Quantifying special damages, including loss of earnings, accurately.
  • Assessing basic hire rate evidence.
  • Identifying continuous improvements to operational functions regarding process, commercial, and tactical practice.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of an automated and efficient case workflow, aiming to reduce operational costs and shorten case duration times.
  • Understanding and meeting stated operational measures for the role (KPIs).
  • Ensuring confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information.
