AA Euro Healthcare have partnered with a leading organisation to hire qualified and experienced Case Workers (relief) in Derry/L'Derry.
Requirements:
- Third Level Qualification or equivalent in Social Care or a related discipline
- A minimum of 2 yearsβ employment experience in a similar role (e.g., homelessness)
- Experience of supporting individuals who present with challenging behaviour
- Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
- Up to date training certificates is a plus (HSE land certificates)
- Full clean B driving license
- Must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland
- NISCC registration desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Have an understanding of what supports can be offered in homeless services to promote positive futures
- Have knowledge/experience of working with needs assessment, key working and support planning for service users
- Have a knowledge of the statutory and voluntary sector resources available to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness
- Understand the importance of Health and Safety standards in the delivery of services on a day-to-day basis
- Knowledge of relevant statutory and voluntary agencies and the ability to network/liaise with all relevant bodies
- Knowledge and willingness to work within the guidelines of our vision, mission, and values
