Purchasing Manager

Refyne is partnered with a leading beauty brand, focusing on clean, sustainable, direct-to-consumer skincare who are seeking a Purchasing Manager to join their growing and dynamic team.

Following their recent brand evolution and global growth, they are seeking a highly capable Purchasing Manager to support the supply chain team during a key phase of expansion.

You will oversee procurement activities across packaging, raw materials and third-party services. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, offering the right candidate the opportunity to transition into a permanent leadership role within a fast-growing, ethical brand.

You must have a strong understanding of FMCG or beauty sector supply chains, a passion for sustainability and a sharp eye for cost, quality and timing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage purchasing strategies for packaging, ingredients and operational services in line with brand sustainability goals.
• Source and negotiate with UK and international suppliers to secure optimal pricing, lead times and quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with NPD, Operations and Finance to ensure material readiness for product launches and demand spikes.
• Manage supplier onboarding, contracts and performance metrics.
• Work closely with the Production Planning team to forecast inventory needs and reduce waste.
• Champion cost-saving initiatives without compromising ethical or environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records and purchasing data in ERP systems.

About you

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement roles, preferably in Personal Care Product Manufacturing or FMCG.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Strong Excel user with experience with ERP systems.
• Understanding of sustainable sourcing practices and relevant certifications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile and high-growth environment.
