The posts are available from 1st September 2025, for 36 months and 24 months respectively; both are fixed-term, full-time contracts. These positions are supported by ERC/UKRI Consolidator and Royal Society grants held by Tim Adamo. The Mathematical Physics group at the University of Edinburgh includes: Tim Adamo, Sayantani Bhattacharyya, Tudor Dimofte, José Figueroa-O’Farrill, Jelle Hartong, James Lucietti, Bernd Schroers, and Joan Simon, along with eight postdoctoral researchers and multiple PhD students. Successful candidates will have opportunities to develop their own research approaches and will be supported by substantial travel and research budgets. These positions are full-time (35 hours/week), but we are open to considering part-time or flexible working arrangements.
