The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 4 Associate Practitioner in Histology to work in a busy lab in Milton Keynes. We are looking for a band 4 associate practitioner who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.
What will you be doing in this Associate Practitioner role?
- You will perform histological tests on tissue samples, including processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining, to prepare them for microscopic examination.
- You will ensure all laboratory procedures comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- You will participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
- You will operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning correctly.
