Job Title: Echocardiographer Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Banding: Band 7 Start date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate: £50 – £58 per hour Working hours: Monday – Friday An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly skilled Band 7 Echocardiographer to join our client’s cardiology department in Gloucester. This locum position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions for the client’s patients. Responsibilities: Performing and interpreting a wide range of echocardiograms, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with clinical protocols. Working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to support patient care pathways. Maintaining high standards of clinical practice. Participating in audit and quality assurance activities. Ensuring equipment is used and maintained appropriately. Qualifications and Experience: BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Postgraduate qualification in Echocardiography – highly desirable. Current registration with HCPC. Proficiency in using echocardiography equipment and reporting software.
