The successful candidate will provide leadership, vision, professional advice and effective management to the Council and in particular Head Teachers. Supporting the delivery of the policies set by the Chief Officers of Education and Families, the post holder will effectively manage an allocated area of responsibility, including the line management of assigned Head Teachers. Ensuring effective partnership working within schools and with partner organisations (both locally and nationally), the successful candidate will also promote and support the delivery of the National Improvement Framework to ensure positive outcomes for our children and young people of North Lanarkshire Council. The post will provide an exciting and challenging development opportunity, and we seek applications from suitably experienced colleagues.
