HiQ Tyres & Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Centre Manager to join the team in our Henley on Thames Centre. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday β Friday 8:30am β 5:30pm β No weekends or Bank Holidays worked. Salary is negotiable for the right person. What you will be doing as an Assistant Centre Manager: Leading and training the team to provide excellent customer service Hands-on work helping in the workshop, as well as reception Ensuring the team is effective and productive Working with the team, peers, and store manager to improve the business Maximising profit and turnover Assist the storeβs manager with costs, margins and cash collection Planning to deliver KPIs and empowering the team to deliver Planning key merchandising activity in a timely manner and ensuring stock management routines are in place Building relationships with customers and local traders Proactive interactions with customers Supporting the store manager to ensure all store colleagues are adhering to health and safety policies and procedures To carry out administration duties as required within the store. To undertake any additional duties (within reason) for the efficient running of the Store. What you will need: Mechanical experience Experience within the automotive retail sector with a minimum of 2 years\β supervisory experience Passionate about improving performance and sales, and delivering a high standard of customer service Able to build positive and effective professional relationships Experience within a in a fast-fit car centre or a recognised vehicle franchise dealership.
