Banking/Finance Lawyer – £100k, 18mth FTC (5I6QVY-2EBF69E5) City of London, England Salary: GBP100000 – GBP100000 per annum + bonus International services provider operating in territories across the globe is looking for a Corporate Finance Lawyer on the basis of an 18 month contract, to play a key role in a period of rapid growth. This is a hybrid role with three days per week required at their headquarters in Central London. Sitting within the Legal team and enjoying daily crossover with the Tax, Treasury and Corporate Finance functions, the postholder will enjoy a varied workload including: Ensuring banking structures in operations across the globe remain in line with local regulations Assisting with implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS) Developing a legal framework for cash pooling structures at both group and regional levels Negotiating cash pooling documentation with banks in multiple jurisdictions Handling complex, global, external financing arrangements Involvement in changing intercompany loan/deposit arrangements, as moved to local currency contracts Negotiating contracts for money market fund platform Handling internal funding via other intercompany debt financing and shareholder equity The client believes that the successful candidate will require at least 4 years’ PQE although applications from all levels are considered on merit. Interest from lawyers qualified in other Commonwealth jurisdictions will be welcomed. You will possess a strong track record as a banking and corporate finance lawyer, with experience of the majority of matters described in the job description above.
