Design Engineer required for a successful mould tool engineering company. The role will involve the CAD design of multi-cavity moulds for the food and cosmetics industries. You will ideally have experience designing for blow moulding, but we will also consider a graduate trainee with a design background. All skill levels are considered, from someone with a basic understanding of mould tools to an experienced designer – note large range in salary specified. Responsibilities include: Designing and developing blow moulds for a variety of products. Analysing customer requirements and developing innovative solutions to meet them. Creating 3D models of moulds using CAD software (software cross training can be given). Developing moulds that are cost-effective and efficient. Testing and evaluating moulds to ensure they meet customer specifications. This is a permanent job with a starting salary dependent on experience.
