A dynamic consultancy based across the UK and Europe is looking for a new Data Protection Manager to assist with their wide range of health-tech, med-tech, and bio-tech clients based across Europe. You will be working directly with the Co-Founder as you lead in this start-up environment.
The Role:
- You will be assisting a variety of clients in the healthcare space, either as their DPO or on specific niche projects such as on AI use.
- Provide advice to businesses on different aspects of data protection from DPIAs to RoPA, and OneTrust implementation.
- Navigating complex privacy regulations such as the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, Swiss FDAP, and the AI Act.
- Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and other global privacy laws.
- Organize and conduct privacy trainings for internal teams and clients.
Successful candidates will have:
- Extensive experience working in data protection, across the UK and Europe as your clients will be across the EU.
- Confidence working autonomously and efficiently as you will be fully remote.
- Experience with OneTrust and Microsoft Notion.
- Someone who is intelligent, curious, and passionate about the work they do.
- Experience in health-techs/clinical trials/AI application to patient data.
- Ideally, experience working on business development.
- You must have the right to work in Europe or the UK.
- Candidates without health-tech/healthcare OR consulting experience will not be considered at this time.
