As a Senior Engineer / Scientist you will help NAWCWD Programs strategize and plan for improvements, modifications, and creation of new airborne electronic warfare capability, helping Naval air systems maintain dominance in the electronic warfare environment. This position is pending funding.
HOW A SENIOR ENGINEER / SCIENTIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Leads and conducts research, design, development, and test of electrical and electronic warfare equipment / systems
- Supervises manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems
- Supports Program leadership with design strategy and recommendations and process improvement as required
- Supervises or mentors other electronics engineers where appropriate
- Attend Program and team meetings as required
- Support creation of manuals and other documentation as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED {Required}:
- Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret
- Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience in electronics hardware
- Education: BS Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, design, development, and test
- Required Technical Skills: Electronics, electronic warfare, engineering / design / test
- Required Skills and Abilities: Communications, leadership / mentorship
- Preferred Skills: Agile / SCRUM experience, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI / CD) experience

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
