Farrow and Ball – Showroom Assistant, Harrogate (22.5 hours per week) We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Showroom team in Harrogate as a Showroom Assistant. This is a part-time position, with some weekend work required. Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand renowned for richly pigmented paint and handcrafted wallpaper, using traditional print methods and high-quality ingredients. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have expanded to 60 showrooms worldwide, supported by a global network of stockists. Our success is driven by our passionate team, from those handcrafting each tin to our showroom staff, all committed to providing customers with a positive and engaging experience. Role Overview As a Showroom Assistant, your main responsibilities will include delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and supporting the team in achieving targets. This role offers a great opportunity to explore your creative potential and contribute to our luxury brand\’s growth. Key Responsibilities Maintain the showroom, stockroom, and displays to the highest standards, ensuring they are neat and tidy at all times. Engage with customers to build meaningful relationships and understand their requirements. Provide excellent customer service, handle complaints professionally, and offer accurate advice on colour and suitability. Assist with stock management, including timely deliveries and replenishing the shop floor. Process transactions accurately and handle refunds where necessary. Support the team during busy periods, sickness, holidays, and emergencies. Key Attributes Exceptional communication skills. Proven track record in sales and customer satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong multitasking skills. IT literacy. Desirable: Technical knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
